An awesome employee (whose name I regrettably am unable to remember) took the time to explain how things worked with the cards and so on. All four of us are in our mid-thirties, and were totally unschooled in the ways of modern bingo-hall playing. We were joined by some friends who are Vegas locals.
We went over, joined the players club, which gives you a bit of a discount on the purchase of bingo cards, and headed up to the second-floor bingo hall. So, with a little Googling, we learned that Gold Coast, right across the street from where we were staying at Palms Place, boasted one of the largest bingo halls in the state of Nevada. how about bingo?! We both have fond memories of playing bingo at church picnics and the like with our grandmothers, and found the idea of seeing what bingo, Vegas-style, was all about.
Our last full day in Vegas, funds were beginning to run a little low (as they will in Vegas), and we were seeking something to do that would take some time and not be incredibly spendy.
